CUJIS is a quality peer reviewed research journal that is published by the Deapartment of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta. It provids a platform for the researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students to impart and share knowledge in the form of good quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews etc. CUJIS welcomes and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical original research papers, case studies, review papers, literature reviews, conceptual framework etc. from India and abroad. CUJIS publishes research papers in all fields of library and information science. 

CUJIS publishes in print and planing to publish simulteneous online versions.
CUJIS is exploring to be indexed with some national and international databases.
CUJIS is inviting papers for No. 16 & No. 17

Which are scheduled to be published on February 2016 & March 2016.

Manuscript should be prepared in MS word in single spaced typed pages and should be submitted electronically as attachment on the E-mail ID mentioned above. 

Manuscripts should have covered-up with Title, Author(s), Designation, Mail ID, Abstract, Keywords and also follow the APA referencing system.

Author(s) must declare that the paper submitted has not been published before and is not simultaneously being considered for publication elsewhere. Author(s) shall also send a duly signed declaration regarding the originality of the manuscript.

Call for Papers: IFLA Journal special issue on Research Data Services

Libraries and archives around the world are applying the principles of library and archival sciences to address challenges and provide new services related to research data management. Librarians are helping researchers address needs throughout the research data lifecycle, for example, by conducting assessment and outreach, consulting on data management plans and metadata, incorporating data into information literacy instruction and collection management, and providing data publication and preservation services.
IFLA Journal invites papers for a special issue focused on research data services and libraries across all continents. The issue will be published in October 2016 as Volume 42:3. In particular, the main goal of the special issue is to gather the latest theory, research, and state-of-the-art practices from libraries that are informing and innovating effective data services.

Articles for the special issue should be submitted to IFLA Journal for peer review before 16 May 2016.
